A Very Full Casa!

Hola Wild Boy followers! I apologize profusely for missing a week here. Oh wait, you didn't even notice, did you? Shame on you all. Now I'll sit here and cry a bit. Oh the betrayal. Oh the heartache. Why? Whyyyyyyyy? See? Suddenly you don't feel so bad about missing a week do you? I'm masterful at blame shifting...just ask the cop. Anyhow, in all seriousness I opted to take a week off because one of my Wild Girl's was in town. That's right, one of my daughters made her way home for a visit all the way from the Midwest, and she brought HER little Wild Girl with her. Which meant our oldest boy (he's really the only tame one in the bunch) also came home to visit and suddenly I went from the two littlest Wild Boys to four of our wild children at home, plus a wild grandchild. And if you think that's confusing to read, you should try managing it in a household. Dinner for four becomes "yes, invite them over too!" and suddenly it's dinner for te...

Cheers to no drop off lines!

Hola faithful Wild Boy followers, and welcome back to another week at La Casa de Testosterone! Weird side note, I think most of you are family and friends, but according to my Google stats there are a healthy amount of readers logging in from China and Russia to be horrified by the amazingly low parenting standards here in Northern California. During the school year I'm forced to work five days a week, eight hour shifts, so I can drop the boys off at school in the morning.  As much as I hate working five days a week, I hate the school drop off line even more.  The wild boys go to school literally a mile from my work, and even closer to the cop's station.  This is supposedly for convenience,...

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!!!

Good morning from la Casa de Testosterone! Super exciting times here in la Casa, as Thursday was the last day of Little League and Friday was the last day of school.  While the boys are obviously only excited about one of these things ending, the parents are ECSTATIC about the combination.  We've been celebrating since after work on Friday.  Saturday is a blur in my mind of buying new swim trunks, celebratory fidget spinners, sure you can have donuts for lunch, and staying up late so we'd sleep in this morning.  The house looks like a frat party happened here, and I'm not going to lie I feel about as groggy and shell shocked this morning as if it had. There is SO MUCH TO CLEAN. Part of it, obviously, is the every week cleaning that needs to be done.  Part is because we no longer have to leave every morning with fifteen assorted bags of changes of clothes for throughout the day, laden down like pack mules trying to make it to the trunk of the car with only one ...
